The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
People’s experience
Peoples Experience PELC had engaged an independent patient survey in August 2024, this demonstrated improvements 94% of patients stated they had enough time to discuss their condition or symptoms with a member of staff, and 91% understood the explanation of their condition and treatment prescribed. In addition, 97% of patients reported staff listened to them, 91% had confidence and trust in the health professional and 76% stated their overall experience was good. The provider submitted the most recent patient feedback for Harold Wood Urgent Care centre for July 2025, when asked if patients would recommend the service, out of 99 responses 47 stated they were very likely or likely and 45 stated they were unlikely or very unlikely. The service monitored and responded to patient feedback, for example, displayed on notice boards was ‘you said, and we did, the providers response. For August 2025 issues noted were some staff did not demonstrate compassionate communication, introduce themselves and were dismissive of patients concerns. In response the organisation had provided all staff training and reminded staff about the organisation’s expectations regarding their behaviour and to wear name badges.
