Where the information comes from.

Care Quality Commission

We use the CQC public data service for provider names, registration details, addresses, service types, assessment findings, ratings and report history. Only locations whose current CQC status is Registered are included. CQC remains the authoritative source and its official record may be newer than our last refresh.

GP Patient Survey

For GP practices with a matching NHS organisation code, we use the 2026 practice-level weighted results published by NHS England and Ipsos. These are patient-reported official statistics, not a Check My GP rating. We show the number of returned questionnaires, response rate and published confidence intervals where available.

Survey results describe respondents, may relate to a different period from a CQC assessment and can be suppressed when too few people answered. They should not be used as a league table.

Community reviews

Reviews are personal submissions from site visitors. They are moderated before publication, are not verified clinical evidence and never alter CQC or NHS data. Review summaries are labelled clearly and are not used to rank providers.

Why information can differ

• A provider may have changed name, ownership, address or registration.
• A new assessment or rating may not yet have reached our copy of the data.
• Some services are registered at an administrative address rather than the place where care is delivered.
• A postcode match does not prove that a provider serves or accepts a particular patient.
• New or non-GP services may not have a matching current patient-survey record.

Treat this service as a starting point. Open the official record, check the evidence dates and scope, then contact the provider or NHS service directly for current availability and eligibility.
