People’s experience
People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Feedback we received was positive about the appointment system and patients told us they were able to access appointments when they needed to. They said things such as “doctors make time to listen and explain what they are doing” and “staff are friendly and understanding.” Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. In the majority of cases, results from the National GP Patient Survey were either in line with or above local and national averages. Results showed that 83% of patients described their overall experience of this GP practice as good, this was above the local average of 76% and the national average of 74%. The practice was trying to promote their patient participation group (PPG) however they were struggling to get volunteers from their cohort of patients. Patients were able to attend regular monthly PPG meetings which were hosted across other practices within their Primary Care Network (PCN).

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
