The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
People’s experience
As part of the assessment, we reviewed the most recent National GP Patient Survey, NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) and asked the practice to invite people to share their experience of the service via the Give feedback on Care section on the Care Quality Commission’s website. We did not receive any submission from Give Feedback on care. When looking at the GP survey, we found 81% of people felt their needs were met during their last general practice appointment, this is slightly lower than the national average of 90%. We also found 88% of people had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to, this is compared to the national average of 92%. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG, described how their views were listened to and acted upon by management. They explained how positive changes had been implemented or were in the process of being implemented because of feedback provided. They told us how the practice involved them in improvement and were open to feedback.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
