People’s experience
Two weeks before our on-site assessment, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 20 patients. On the day of our assessment, we received feedback from a further 12 patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included, “The dentist offers outstanding service, making you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The reception staff are warm and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere”, “57 Dental care is a lovely dental practice. They are very thorough in checks and talk me through the process, making me feel at ease”, “Excellent service, wonderful team. Reception is so friendly” and “I have had an amazing experience at this dental clinic throughout the year. The staff have consistently been friendly, welcoming and professional. Appointments are always timely and well co-ordinated”. Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. They told us they were able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and that they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed.
Patients said they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care.
When they were prescribed medicines, patients felt that sufficient information was given.
Patients also felt they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources.
The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
