People’s experience
Prior to our visit, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 32 patients. Their responses provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included: “Really listened to my concerns regarding my smile and what I wanted to improve… ” “They are very organised and well run, with good digital reminders. The admin staff are friendly and helpful… I was very satisfied with my experience and would recommend them.” “I have had an excellent service from Alderley Dental. All the staff a friendly. The treatment I've received was always good and continue to receive treatment at the practice” “All staff are really good at what they do. The Dentist was very patient and professional whilst I was receiving treatment. The after care and all communication is excellent.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. “Very clean practice.” Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. “Always very flexible when it came to rescheduling appointments, listened to what I wanted in terms of who I wanted my treatment to be followed by.” Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. “The dental staff are good communicators and make it clear what is happening at every stage. They give very clear descriptions of what to expect and what the actions to take between visits.” Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
