People’s experience
Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 6 patients. On the day of our inspection, we reviewed patient feedback routinely collected by the practice. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included, “From my experience, the practice demonstrates a high standard of care and professionalism. The staff are welcoming, respectful, and attentive, helping to create a calm environment for patients. Communication is clear, and procedures are explained thoroughly. I believe this practice provides a quality service that meets, and in many ways exceeds, expected standards.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Comments included, “Excellent facilities. Great staff (friendly, helpful and respectful). Efficient service. Clean and very organised. Dentists are extremely knowledgeable and skilled. The supporting team are always helpful, courteous and considerate. I really can’t fault it.” Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Comments included, “I felt genuinely cared for. The dentist was warm, patient and really took the time to understand what I needed. They didn’t rush me at all and helped me feel completely at ease. The whole team was kind and helpful.” Patients were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Patients were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
