Ongoing Assessment for Horizon Health Centre

Assessment dated 2 July 2024. Published 4 October 2024.

What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

The recent GP Patient Survey results for 2024 showed people had confidence in the healthcare professional they saw and felt involved in decisions about their treatment. Whilst our assessment did not find any elements of care not meeting the expected standard, some people expressed difficulty in accessing care, support, and treatment in a way that met their needs or preferences. We asked the service to share a link with people so they could share their feedback with CQC and although we saw this on display at the service, we did not receive an increase in feedback.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
