People’s experience

Patients were very positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP patient survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed patients were very satisfied with services. For example, the 2025 GP patient survey results were all above the national average including for overall experience and access. We also noted that 86%of respondents described their overall experience of this GP practice as good or very good, compared to the national result of 75%. CQC received 90 comments from patients and the overwhelming majority of these were positive. Less positive comments were mainly about the appointment system. There was an active patient participation group who met 5 to 6 times a year. One of the members told us the practice had demonstrated a commitment to working in partnership with the Patient Participation Group (PPG) and had established lines of communication and opportunities for the PPG to contribute. They were able to share with us examples of where their views were heard and had been acted on. The practice also received positive responses from NHS Friends and Family Test Feedback. In June 2025 out of 386 responses, 97% considered the surgery to be very good or good. In July out of 522 responses, 97% considered the surgery to be very good or good, and in August out of 407 responses, 97% considered the surgery to be very good, or good.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
