People’s experience

The National GP Patient Survey showed people were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. As part of the assessment, the practice was asked to share a feedback link on their website and display a poster within the practice, encouraging people to provide feedback to CQC. We received feedback from 62 people of which 90% were positive. Whilst our inspection did not find any elements of care not meeting the expected standard, the 10% of negative feedback we received indicated difficulty accessing care, support, and treatment that aligned with their individual needs and preferences. The practice had an active Patient Participation Group (PPG) who shared the views of people using the service. Representatives of the PPG told us the practice listened to their feedback. For example, following feedback about the proposed new electronic triaging system, the practice recognised challenges faced by digitally excluded people and responded by ensuring appropriate support and guidance was provided during implementation. Additionally, the practice collaborated with the local community hub (GL11), located just 100 meters away, to arrange IT support and training for people to ease the transition.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
