People’s experience
People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including the National GP Patient Survey showed that 85% of respondents described their overall experience of the GP practice as good. This was higher than the local and national result of 75%. The survey showed 84% of respondents found the reception staff and administrative staff as helpful. The results of the NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) for June 2025, showed that 96% of respondents would recommend the service to friends and family. Comments included that staff exhibited kindness and compassion, and were described as very helpful, reassuring and professional. At the last inspection, the practice was working to re-establish the Patient Participation Group (PPG), that situation remains the same at this assessment. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) had received a total of 12 responses about the practice via our Give Feedback on Care’ process and 11 of these were positive responses. Patients told us they received compassionate and respectful care because doctors had showed empathy and respect, and they felt listened to. Medical professionals were described as knowledgeable, competent, and thorough. Patients told us that interactions with reception staff had been positive, describing them as consistently polite, kind and helpful. Patients felt their appointments and referrals had been arranged quickly and in most cases, appointments ran on time, although this was not always the case, as identified in feedback the practice had received via the Friends and Family Test regarding access to appointments.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
