Ongoing Assessment for Broseley Medical Practice

Assessment dated 2 September 2026. Published 28 September 2026.

What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

As part of our assessment, we reviewed feedback from people who used the service to understand their views and experience of the service. This included feedback received through the Care Quality Commission (CQC) Give Feedback on Care process; discussions held with patients during our site visit and the Friends and Family Test. People were overwhelmingly positive about the quality of their care, describing staff as friendly, helpful, respectful, efficient, kind and compassionate. These findings were mirrored in the results of the 2026 National GP Patient Survey. Across the 7 indicators we reviewed, patient satisfaction was higher than national averages in 6 of the 7 indicators. For example, 78% of respondents responded positively to how easy it was to contact the GP practice compared to the national average of 57%. The practice had an active Patient Participation Group (PPG) that represented the views of people using the service. A PPG representative told us patients, and the local community valued the practice and highlighted their collaborative work on community events. They described how leaders had made positive changes as a result of patient feedback and were always receptive to suggestions to improve the services provided.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
