Assessment dated 6 August 2025. Published 23 December 2025.

What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

The provider encouraged and used feedback from people who used the service to make improvements. Feedback sent direct to CQC showed that patient experience of accessing the service was mixed. The results of the National GP Patient Survey were sometimes lower than local and national average scores for patient satisfaction regarding access, but the practice had made improvements to their appointment and booking system because of this. Results showed that patients had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to, and patients felt that their needs were met. Recent results from the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were positive about their experience of the service. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG felt listened to and could make suggestions for improvements which would be acted upon.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
