People’s experience

People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were highly satisfied with the service provided. The practice had scored above local and national averages in 17 of the 20 indicators in the National GP Patient Survey. Feedback gained through the Friends and Family Test (FFT) was also positive. Comments included being provided with a prompt, friendly and caring service with efficient consultations. The practice had a Patient Participation Group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. A representative from the PPG spoke highly of the service and described how managers had made positive changes, such as implementing a new digital total triage system that had improved access to appointments. In preparation for our assessment of the practice, we received feedback from 6 patients through Give feedback on care service. Feedback reflected a high level of patient satisfaction, with many expressing gratitude for the professionalism, compassion, and dedication of the team and the punctual and efficient service provided. In the previous 12 months CQC had received 2 concerns regarding the care and treatment provided. Feedback received from care home representatives was positive. They told us the practice worked in partnership with them, and the doctors and clinical staff were all understanding of their service users’ needs and treated them with respect and dignity.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
