People’s experience
The provider had clear information on our Give Feedback on Care (GFC) process as an alert on their website and at the service. We reviewed people’s feedback from GFC, Healthwatch Suffolk and spoke with care home representatives. Feedback was positive regarding the professionalism, helpful and caring nature of clinical and non-clinical staff and the clinical care and treatment provided. Feedback was positive regarding access to appointments. The National GP Patient Survey showed people were satisfied with the access and experience provided by the service. Results from the NHS Friends and Family Test, from 12 January 2025 to 12 January 2026 showed 98% of people rated their overall experience of the service as good or very good. The service worked with The Patients Association - Ixworth Surgery, a registered charity. They met 4 times a year and a representative from the practice attended. We spoke to and received feedback from representatives who represented the views of people who used the service. They described an effective working relationship, for example, with the practice manager who provided practice updates every 2 months for their newsletter.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
