People’s experience
Although the results of the 2024 GP Patient Survey suggested improvement, patient satisfaction about access to and the patient experience at Stopsley Village Practice was slightly below national and local averages.
Feedback from people who used the service was mixed about access to appointments and how the practice adapted to meet their needs.
People generally felt they were involved as much as they wanted to be in decisions about their care and treatment. People told us they felt staff were informative and took time to listen to them and give them information in ways that meant they did not feel they were rushed.
Most online reviews were positive about the service. People described staff as helpful, patient, understanding, kind, respectful, friendly and polite. However, we received some feedback that was critical of the approach of some clinicians. Other people told us they felt clinical and non-clinical staff were now more approachable and helpful.
Representatives from the PPG told us practice staff were responsive to concerns and queries raised by the PPG and there was good two-way communication with practice staff. However, some people who used the service told us the practice had not responded to their feedback or requests to discuss their concerns and possible improvements with the practice manager.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
