The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. In the National GP Patient Survey, 76% of patients who responded described their overall experience as Good.   There was a Patient Participation Group (PPG) in place, which represented the views of people using the service. At the time of the inspection, the PPG had 3 active committee members, however, the wider PPG membership included a higher number of patients. The practice had taken steps to encourage wider participation, including sharing information through leaflets, word of mouth, and notices displayed on practice noticeboards.   Representatives from the PPG described how the service worked with the PPG to improve outcomes for people. The PPG told us that the relationship they had with the service was open and transparent. Representatives from the PPG told us that practice managers were responsive to feedback and had made positive changes. For example, practice consulted with the PPG about implementing an Artificial intelligence (AI) receptionist tool to improve operational efficiency and enhance patient satisfaction.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
