What CQC reported

The service is performing exceptionally well.

People’s experience

People were extremely positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were overwhelmingly satisfied with services. Results from the National GP Patient Survey for the indicators included in the report were all above the national results and some were significantly above. There was a very active Patient Participation Group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. A representative from the PPG described how managers made positive changes because of feedback, for example increased use of social media to promote national campaigns and share information, and the development of an information leaflet on wait times for referrals and blood test results.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
