What CQC reported
The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
People’s experience
As part of our assessment, we reviewed feedback from people who used the service to understand their views and experience. This included reviewing 53 comments from people who use the service through the CQC Give Feedback on Care online facility. Of these, 45 were overwhelmingly positive about the quality of their care and treatment, compared to 8 mixed comments. People praised the GPs and reception staff and commented positively about how they were treated for their clinical care. They described how staff treated them with kindness and compassion and respected their privacy. However, negative comments included concerns about access to the service which included long waits for face-to-face appointments. The service responded to this by increasing the number of face-to-face appointments available. Results of recent surveys, including the 2025 National GP Patient Survey, showed the service was above the national average for the overall experience of people using the service with 86% responding positively compared to the national average of 77%. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service.
