People’s experience
As part of our assessment, we reviewed feedback from people who used the service to understand their views and experience of the service. People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. They described how staff treated them with kindness and compassion and respected their privacy. Patient feedback throughout the Friends and Family test (FFT) results was overwhelmingly positive, demonstrating high levels of satisfaction with the accessibility and responsiveness of services provided. This was mirrored in the results of recent surveys, including the 2025 National GP Patient Survey, which showed most people were satisfied. For example, 86% of the respondents described their overall experience of this GP practice as good, in comparison to the national average of 75% There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. There was a strong collaborative relationship between the practice and the PPG. Feedback from PPG members showed that their views were listened to and valued and acted upon. Examples of changes implemented following PPG feedback included refinements to the online triage system before its launch, improvements to the practice website and reconfiguration of the waiting room seating arrangements. The PPG members met bi-monthly with the Practice Manager, and a rotating GP was in attendance, ensuring regular engagement with both management and clinical staff.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
