People’s experience
As part of our assessment, we reviewed the most recent National GP Survey for 2025, NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) and asked the practice to invite patients to share their experience of the service via the Give feedback on care section on the Care Quality Commission’s website. The National GP Patient Survey of 2025 showed 93% had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to during their last general practice appointment, and 80% described their overall experience of the GP practice as good. We also saw that 67% described their experience of contacting their GP practice as good, the national average for this was 70%. The NHS FFT results for May 2026, showed the service received 285 responses and 78% described the service as very good. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Feedback from the PPG indicated patients had previously found some reception staff difficult to approach. However, members told us there had been a noticeable improvement in staff interactions; they described reception staff as being more approachable and supportive. This feedback reflected in the National GP Survey data, where 85% of respondents reported reception and administrative staff at the practice were helpful, compared with the national average of 83%.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
