The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

Results reviewed from the NHS Friends and Family Test over the previous 6 months, showed people were very satisfied with services. Patient reported receiving a prompt, efficient and thorough service from helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and professional staff. The most recent results from the National GP Patient Survey published in July 2025 were below average for most indicators. For example, 58.8% of people responded positively to the overall experience of the GP practice compared to the national average of 75.4%. The practice had an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. We spoke to a representative from the PPG. They spoke highly of the service and the positive changes made following patient feedback. In preparation for our assessment we received feedback from 10 patients, 8 were positive, 1 mixed and 1 negative. The majority of feedback reflected a high level of patient satisfaction, with many expressing gratitude for the professionalism, compassion, and dedication of the entire team. However, there were also notable concerns regarding appointment availability and communication.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
