What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and surveys conducted by the practice, showed people were satisfied with services. The National GP Patient Survey data showed that 89% of respondents would describe their overall experience of this practice as good. This was higher than the national average of 75%. There was a patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service, however this group was inactive, and did not have regular meetings. A representative from the PPG explained that this was due to difficulties with recruiting new members and was not the fault of the practice. A monthly coffee morning had been developed by the Community Link Workers and members of the PPG regularly attended. We received positive feedback from representatives from local care homes regarding this service.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
