People’s experience
As part of our assessment, we reviewed feedback from people who used the service to understand their views and experience. The 2025 National GP Patient Survey results had 90 responses, this showed people were mostly satisfied with services provided but there were areas for improvements. For example, 91% of patients stated their needs were met and 79% stated they had a very or fairly good overall experience, which were both above the national and local averages. In addition, 91% stated they had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to, the national average in comparison was 91% and the local 88%. Results for people’s experience of contacting the practice were slightly lower than the national and local averages. In response, the practice took action to improve people’s experiences. For example, by migrating to a cloud-based telephone system, enabling call back, promoting online methods of contact, introducing a dashboard in reception so that staff could monitor calls, and commencing recruitment of reception staff to help manage people’s access needs. The practice monitored patient’s online reviews, from January 1 to March 31, 2026, the practice had received 239 responses, 191 rated the practice as very good. Where patients had raised improvements regarding appointments, the practice had acted and further plans were in place, to improve access and reduce waiting times. The practice held regular patient participation group (PPG) meetings, where peoples feedback was responded to and changes discussed. We spoke with members of the PPG who felt further work was required to improve the appointment system but provided positive feedback overall. We also noted that 102 patients had contacted Healthwatch and provided positive feedback . From April 2025 to March 2026, 92% were positive about the practice, 97% felt informed, 96% experienced quality and empathy and 69% were positive about access to the service.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
