What CQC reported
The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
People’s experience
As part of our assessment, we reviewed feedback from people who used the service to understand their views and experience. People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. They described how staff treated them with kindness and compassion and respected their privacy. This was mirrored in the results of recent surveys, including the 2025 National GP Patient Survey, which showed most people were satisfied. For example, 85% respondents stated they had a very or fairly good overall experience which was above the local (64%) and national average (70%). The 2025 National GP Patient Survey results had 103 responses (462 surveys sent out 22% completion rate). Recent survey results from the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. The NHS FFT results from 2025 to 2026 showed most people rating the service as very good (83%) or good (11%). The practice had responded to the smaller numbers of negative comments and made changes to improve people’s experience. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. The practice held regular patient participation group (PPG) meetings, where peoples feedback was responded to and changes discussed. We spoke with a? representative from the PPG who described how managers made positive changes because of feedback.
