People’s experience
Overall, we found that patients were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed patients were generally satisfied with services. For example, 85% of patients who responded to the National GP Patient Survey in 2025 described their overall experience of the GP practice as very good or good compared to 77% for the local average and 75% for the national average. A high number of respondents to the survey, 78%, reported that they found it easy to contact the practice via the telephone compared to a local average of 51% and a national average of 53%. Over the previous 12 months the practice received 325 NHS Friends and Family feedback responses. Of these 289 rated the practice as very good or good, 17 neither good nor bad, 13 very poor or poor, and 6 who didn’t state an opinion. As part of our assessment of the service we received 38 responses directly from patients via Give Feedback on Care. Of these 30 were positive and cited timely treatment and good access, care, and skilled and empathetic staff. The remaining 8 were less positive, discussing general treatment concerns, and booking and access issues. There was an active Patient Participation Group (PPG) which represented the views of people using the service. We spoke with a representative from the PPG who told us that they felt that the practice leadership team listened to them and respected their views. They described how the service made positive changes based on their feedback and recommendations.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
