People’s experience
Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with the quality of care and treatment received. 88% of respondents to the National GP Patient Survey stated they were involved as much as they wanted to be in decisions about their care and treatment, and 91% of respondents stated they had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to in their last general practice appointment. However, results from the survey as well as feedback received from people we spoke with suggested there was dissatisfaction regarding access to the service, with 34% of respondents to the survey stating they found it easy to get through to the GP practice by phone. This was reflected in the feedback received from people we spoke to during the site visit as well as the Patient Participation Group. There was an active Patient Participation Group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG described how managers made positive changes because of feedback, such as introducing the display of name badges for staff.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
