The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
People’s experience
As part of our assessment, we reviewed feedback from people who used the service to understand their views and experience of the service, this included feedback received by CQC, data from the latest National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family test. People were very positive about the quality of their care and treatment, describing staff as kind, compassionate, respectful, friendly, and professional. Many reported feeling listened to and found staff to be helpful and effective communicators and said they were seen promptly by the service. This was reflected in recent survey results, including the 2025 National GP Patient Survey, which showed high levels of satisfaction. Notably, 100% of respondents said they had confidence and trust in the last healthcare professional they saw or spoke with (national average 92.5%), and 96% reported a positive overall experience of the surgery (national average 75%). Although the service did not have an active Patient Participation Group (PPG), they told us that they engaged with the Primary Care Network PPG. The service monitored and reviewed multiple sources of patient feedback, including the NHS Friends and Family test, the National GP Patient Survey data, Google reviews, and Opinion Matters, and had developed an action plan to address areas for improvement, such as promoting online access. Feedback from the Friends and Family test was highly positive, with 97% rating the service as good or very good (87.6% very good and 9% good), supported by consistently positive individual comments about care and treatment.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
