What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

As part of our assessment, we reviewed feedback from people who used the service to understand their views and experience of the service. This included feedback received by CQC, data from the latest available National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family test. People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. They described how staff treated them with kindness and compassion and respected their privacy. This was mirrored in the results of recent surveys, including the 2025 National GP Patient Survey, which showed 84% of patients described their overall experience of the GP practice as good, compared to the national average of 75%. Results from the NHS Friends and Family test also showed positive results, the latest available data showed that over 2000 patients had responded that they had received a very good experience of the services offered. The practice did not have an active patient participation group (PPG); however, they regularly updated their website and social media platforms to keep patients informed. The practice also responded to reviews on external sites such as Google to understand how they could continually improve patient’s experiences.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
