What CQC reported
The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
People’s experience
As part of our assessment, we reviewed feedback from people who used the service to understand their views and experience of care. This included speaking with people using the service at the time of our assessment and reviewing other feedback available to us. People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. They described how staff treated them with kindness, compassion and respect, and said their privacy was maintained. People spoke positively about the clinicians they saw and told us they felt listened to and involved in decisions about their care. This was reflected in the results of recent surveys, including the 2026 National GP Patient Survey, which showed high levels of confidence and trust in healthcare professionals and positive experiences of care and treatment. The 2026 National GP Patient Survey identified opportunities to improve access to the service, including contacting the practice and continuity of care. However, survey results were otherwise positive, particularly in relation to people's experience of care and treatment, with most respondents reporting they were listened to, treated with care and concern, and that their needs were met. There was an active Patient Participation Group (PPG) which represented the views of people using the service. PPG members were positive about the care provided by the practice and described examples of responsive and personalised care. Some members identified access as priority for ongoing improvement and highlighted a period where PPG meetings had not taken place since January 2026. The practice had re-engaged with the PPG and had identified priorities focused on improving access and continuity, supporting prevention and personalised care, staff training, and how people are treated, with a PPG meeting scheduled for October 2026. Overall, feedback demonstrated that people felt valued by the practice and that leaders sought to obtain and act on patient feedback to support service development.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
