People’s experience
People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. For instance, 66% of patients reported it was easy to get through to this GP practice by phone, compared with local and national averages of 60% and 53%. In addition, 95% felt their needs were met during their last general practice appointment, exceeding the average locally and nationally of 89% and 90%. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG described how managers made positive changes because of feedback, such as promoting PPG membership through recorded telephone messages while patients waited and installing a bike rack outside the practice. We received few comments from patients via Give Feedback on Care forms. Feedback reflected a range of experiences, including positive comments about high‑quality, timely care, as well as concerns about difficulties booking appointments through the practice total triage system.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
