People’s experience

People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied or very satisfied with services. For example, 99% of respondents to the GP patient survey stated that during their last appointment they had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. The practice reviewed the results of the Friends and Family Test with the PPG on a 3- monthly basis. Representatives from the PPG described how managers made positive changes because of feedback, such as altering the layout of the upstairs waiting room to enable everyone to see the appointment call board and, support with the development of a PPG information leaflet. Representatives from 3 of the care homes where the service provided care and treatment were positive or very positive about the service provided to people living in the homes.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
