People’s experience

The provider had clear information on our Give Feedback on Care (GFC) process as an alert on their website and at the service. We spoke with care home representatives and reviewed people’s feedback from GFC, Healthwatch Suffolk and feedback obtained by the service. Feedback was positive regarding helpful and friendly reception staff and the clinical care and treatment provided. People’s views had been mixed regarding access to appointments in the previous 12 months, although recent feedback showed improved satisfaction. The 2025 National GP Patient Survey showed 61.2% of people responded positively to their overall experience of the service. This had increased to 70.2% in the 2026 survey compared to the national average of 76.7%. NHS Friends and Family Test feedback showed that 96.2% of respondents rated their overall experience of the service as either good or very good between July 2025 and June 2026. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG explained how service leaders both shared information with the PPG and listened to, and acted upon, the feedback received. This included a standing ‘News from the surgery’ agenda item, through which updates were provided on the progress of service improvements. Information was also shared with people who used the service, to raise awareness about alternative appointment choices, for example weekend appointments at another service.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
