People’s experience

People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the 2025 National GP Patient Survey and the July NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. Feedback during the inspection was positive, patients felt supported and cared for by everyone at the service. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG described good engagement between the group and the service, health care speakers attended meetings and the service had worked well within the community to provide reassurance around the new triage system. They shared how the service had made positive changes through feedback, such as improvements to facilities. As part of this assessment, we reviewed patient feedback data available from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT). Feedback from the National GP Patient Survey was above national averages in the majority of outcomes, we found 92% responded positively to the overall experience of the service (national average 75%), 95% felt the healthcare professional was very good or fairly good at listening to them (national average 87%), 97% had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to (national average 93%), Feedback regarding access showed that 87% responded positively to the overall experience of contacting their GP practice (national average 70%).

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
