People’s experience
The GP Patient Survey data for 2023 regarding access was below the national average for all indicators relating to access. For example, 43% of respondents described their experience of making an appointment as good compared to a national result of 54%. A poor response of 4% of respondents said they usually got to see or speak to their preferred GP when they would like to compared to a national result of 35%. The Survey results were equal or higher than national and local averages for respondents being given a time for their last appointment, taking the appointment they were offered and being involved as much as they wanted to be in decisions about their care and treatment. The practice had reviewed the GP Patient Survey data and had taken action to improve the service however, the practice had not asked patients to provide their feedback. Results from the NHS Friends and Family Test were reviewed and found to be positive. In February 2024, 941 people responded to the survey and 93% were positive about the practice. CQC have received mixed feedback from patients via Give Feedback sharing both positive and negative experiences.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
