The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

People were generally positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with the practice. Results from the National GP patient survey published in July 2025 showed that 74% of respondents reported a positive overall experience of their GP practice compared to 75% nationally and 73% locally. Additionally, 74% of respondents reported a good overall experience of contacting this GP practice, compared to 70% nationally and 69% locally. Since our assessment, new data from the National GP Patient Survey published July 2026, showed the practice continuing to receive mainly positive responses from patients about their experience at the practice, although there were some areas where patient responses showed a dip in patient satisfaction levels. 69% of respondents reported a positive overall experience of their GP practice compared to 77% nationally and 75% locally. Additionally, 71% of respondents reported a good overall experience of contacting this GP practice, compared to 73% both nationally and locally. There was a patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the practice.
