What CQC reported
The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
People’s experience
As part of our assessment, we reviewed feedback from people who used the service to understand their views and experience of the service. This included speaking with people using the service at the time of our assessment and reviewing other feedback available to us. We received 221 pieces of feedback via our website – Give feedback on care, of these 158 were positive and 69 were mixed. We identified themes relating to accessing the service online and timeliness of repeat prescriptions in the mixed feedback provided. Positive feedback described how staff treated people with kindness, compassion, listened to them and respected their privacy. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were positive about the service. For example, the percentage of respondents to the GP Patient Survey who responded positively to the overall experience of their GP practice was 71% compared to the national average of 75%. The service has a patient participation group (PPG), which had been re-established within the last 7 months. They held open PPG forum meetings every 3 to 4 months, which people who use the service were invited to attend and provide feedback, as well obtain information about changes within the service.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
