People’s experience
Feedback received from people who use the service was mixed. Recent survey results from the service’s NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) in January 2026, totalling 321 responses, showed 297 people were positive about service provision. Comments submitted via FFT showed staff were helpful and polite, and people could access the service when they needed to. Whilst the 2025 National GP Patient Survey showed the satisfaction rate of the service was lower than local and national averages, for example, only 46% of respondents said they had a good overall experience of this service. This was lower than the local average of 76% and the national average of 75%. Only 10% of respondents said it was easy to access this service by phone, compared with a local average of 49% and a national average of 53%. As part of this assessment, the service was asked to promote CQC’s ‘Give Feedback on Care’ which they did in their premises via posters, on their website and via text messaging. A total of 34 people provided feedback directly to us. Of those, 27 responses were positive and indicated people considered staff to be professional, friendly and helpful. There were 8 negative comments related to access to the service, including telephone access and long timescales for booking appointments. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) which represented the views of people using the service. Feedback from the PPG was mixed about the service’s responsiveness to feedback and communication with the PPG, and described the relationship as a ‘developing relationship’.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
