People’s experience
Feedback from patients from the various sources of information available was positive. The practice sent us analysed results of their NHS friends and family test results. The practice had consistently averaged around 90% for how good patients rated them since 2022. In October 2025, the latest available set of results, 94% of patients said they would recommend the practice to friends and family (good or very good), 4% neither good nor poor and 2% as poor. Consistent comments included words such as helpful, good, lovely and pleasant. The most recent National GP Patient Survey results were all around the national average. (results reported on are from 30/12/2024 to 01/04/2025). For example, the percentage of respondents to the National GP Patient Survey who responded positively to the overall experience of their GP practice was 70.4%, while the national average was 75.4%. The practice provided us with analysis of 11 compliments they had received in the last year. These praised staff for looking after them, the service, professionalism and care they received. Many staff were mentioned by name. We received 4 items of patient feedback via our Give Feedback on Care facility during our assessment. These were wholly positive. Patients used words such as outstanding, positive, caring, friendly and helpful staff. They told us the care had continually improved over the years to provide an excellent service. The practice shared with us feedback from patients from a healthcare initiative they had undertaken to proactively tackle healthcare inefficiencies. Patient feedback had been overwhelmingly positive, with patients expressing their appreciation for being contacted proactively and the approach being reassuring, supportive, and motivating to help them manage their own health. There was a patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. The members we spoke with said the practice listened to their feedback and made positive changes as a result. The group had supported the practice to renew their patient information leaflet and gave feedback around the current layout of this and helped make the information more accessible. We contacted a care home where the practice had patients as residents. The care home manager told us the practice were very responsive and caring for the residents and they had a good relationship; nothing was too much trouble.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
