What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG described a positive and collaborative relationship with the practice. A GP partner and the practice manager regularly attend the PPG meetings thus supporting opportunities for open discussion sharing information and consideration of patient views. The PPG members we spoke with felt involved in development of their services and improvements in the practice. For example, they were including in discussions around online access and triage system which the PPG supported as an effective way of ensuring patients were directed to the most appropriate healthcare professional.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
