People’s experience
As part of the assessment, we reviewed the most recent National GP Patient Survey for 2025, NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT), and asked the service to invite patients to share their experience of the service via the Give feedback on Care section on the Care Quality Commission’s website. The National GP Patient Survey for 2025 showed that 98% of patients felt their needs were met during their last general practice appointment, compared to the national average of 90%, and 98% had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to, which was higher than the national average of 93%. We also saw that 84% of people would describe their overall experience of the GP practice as good, the national average for this is 75%. FFT results between December 2025, and May 2026 showed that feedback consistently reflected a positive experience, with 95.1% of responses rating the service as “very good” or "good." Feedback highlighted how polite the staff were and the excellent service provided. Additional comments described how helpful and friendly the team were, and how patients felt reassured, listened to, and heard. We received some submissions via the Give Feedback on Care section on the Care Quality Commission’s website. Patients described how good the service was, highlighting that they felt the service was caring, and that they were listened to. There was an active Patient Participation Group (PPG) representing the views of service users. PPG representatives explained that leaders were receptive to concerns raised and demonstrated openness and honesty in their responses. They also shared that they felt the service provided was good, with staff who were caring, friendly, and appeared happy in their work.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
