People’s experience

People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were very satisfied with services. The National GP Patient survey showed that the percentage of respondents who were positive about how easy it was to contact their GP practice on the phone was above the national average and people’s satisfaction with the care they received was in line with national averages. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. A representative from the PPG described how managers made positive changes in response to feedback. For example, a new telephone system to improve patient access to the practice, the promotion of the PPG within the practice and the introduction of a notice board within the practice to inform people of staff roles and names.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
