The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
People’s experience
We reviewed several sources of patient feedback. Most of the feedback was positive but we also found examples where patients had not been satisfied with their experience. External data sources, including the national GP Patient Survey showed the practice was in line with local and national averages and the only review on the NHS website was also positive. We also reviewed the feedback CQC had received in the last 12 months via the ‘Give Feedback on Care’ section of our website. The feedback was varied and only 1 item of feedback referred directly to the quality statements assessed. Positive feedback was that patients had been responded to quickly when they had symptoms of serious illnesses and patients found the practice and all staff, kind, caring and compassionate. However, we also received feedback that some patients had waited longer than they expected for appointments, had felt rushed during appointments and had found some staff’s approach had not always been to their satisfaction.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
