Ongoing Assessment for Dr P D Miles
Assessment dated 19 May 2026. Published 1 July 2026.
What CQC reported
The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
People’s experience
As part of our assessment, we reviewed patient feedback to understand their views and experiences of the service. This included feedback received through the CQC’s Give Feedback on Care process and the Friends and Family Test. People were overwhelmingly positive about the quality of their care, describing staff as friendly, respectful, efficient, helpful, kind, understanding, and compassionate. These findings were mirrored in the results of the 2025 National GP Patient Survey. Across the 7 indicators we reviewed, patient satisfaction was higher or significantly higher than national averages. For example, 99% of respondents rated their overall experience of the GP practice positively, significantly exceeding the national average of 75%. The practice had an active Patient Participation Group (PPG) that represented the views of people using the service. A PPG representative reported feeling valued by the practice and highlighted their collaborative work on community events such as vaccination sessions and well-person clinics.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
