People’s experience
People were very positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG described how positive changes had been made because of feedback, such as the PPG working with the practice to liaise with external pharmacies to improve the service for their patients, following complaints about prescriptions not being available at the pharmacy. The PPG had feedback to the practice about patient dissatisfaction with the telephone system and a new system had been implemented recently which had created improvement and been positively received by patients. The PPG told us the practice were at the heart of and proactive within the local community. The PPG and practice had recently organised and presented a health and wellbeing event focused on insomnia which had been well received by patients. Care home representatives spoke positively about the care their residents received, commenting on the responsiveness of the practice both in respect of appointments and prescription requests.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
