What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

As part of our inspection, we reviewed feedback from people who used the practice to understand their views and experience. This included speaking with people using the practice at the time of our inspection and reviewing other feedback available to us. People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. They described how staff treated them with kindness and compassion and respected their privacy. This was mirrored in the results of recent surveys, including the 2025 National GP Patient Survey, which showed people were satisfied, especially regarding the ease of accessing services. We received feedback from patients as a result of the practice sharing information and the direct website link to ‘CQC Give Feedback on Care’ to patients, which was positive. Patients gave examples of staff being kind and compassionate. Feedback highlighted examples of practice staff taking the time to provide exceptional levels of person-centred care, this included the reception team, dispensary team and the clinical team. The practice promoted and monitored patient feedback that was collected via the NHS ‘Friends and Family’ Test results. We reviewed the most recent responses collected and verified from January 2026 (180 responses), February 2026 (164 responses) and March 2026 (171 responses). Using the combined responses from the last 3 months, 98% rated the service received at the practice as either ‘Good’ or ‘Very Good’. There was a patient participation group (PPG) which was growing in activity. The PPG represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG described how they worked with the practice to make improvements, this included planning the community well-being health day in June 2026.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
