People’s experience
Feedback from patients was predominantly positive regarding experiences of care. The National GP patient survey results published in July 2023 showed the practice scored above the national average for all 5 indicators relating to patient experience. This indicated patients felt listened to and involved in decisions about their care and treatment. The results showed 87.9% of patients responded positively to the overall experience of the GP practice. We received feedback from 19 patients from the CQC website Give Feedback on Care forms. There were 14 responses that were positive about the practice and the care received. Staff were described as empathetic, helpful and knowledgeable and the care excellent. Patients commented positively on the online system used to book appointments. There were 5 negative responses mainly related to telephone access and appointment booking. There had been 2 positive and 1 negative reviews left on the NHS website (formerly known as NHS Choices) in the 12 months prior to the assessment. The positive comments related to care received and the negative to communications with the practice. All reviews had been responded to by the practice manager.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
