People’s experience
Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with the quality of care and treatment received. 84% of respondents to the National GP Patient Survey stated they were involved as much as they wanted to be in decisions about their care and treatment, 92% of respondents stated they had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to in their last general practice appointment and 90% of patient felt their needs were met during their last appointment. However, results from the survey suggested there was dissatisfaction regarding access to the service, with 37% of respondents to the survey stating they found it easy to get through to the GP practice by phone. The practice had a Patient Participation Group (PPG) in place to represent the views of patients, though uptake remained low despite efforts to increase engagement. In addition, the practice actively participated in the wider Primary Care Network (PCN) PPG, ensuring patient perspectives were represented at a locality level.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
