The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
People’s experience
We did not receive a lot of patient feedback; we asked the practice to share details on the practice website of CQC Give Feedback on Care process. Give Feedback on Care allows patients to comment directly to CQC on the care they have received. We received 1 positive comment and 1 negative comment from patients via Give Feedback on Care forms. We spoke with 2 members of the Patient Participation Group (PPG), they provided positive feedback about the practice. They felt the practice engaged and communicated with them well and felt the practice had listened to their feedback. They also fed back they could get an urgent appointment if required. Feedback from patients via the annual national patient survey showed the practice scored slightly below national averages for people’s experiences of health and care. The practice was aware of this and had reviewed, analysed and undertaken their own patient survey. They, had also reviewed Friends and Family feedback and complaints made to the practice and used this information to improve the service provided.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
