What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

We received mixed feedback from people who use the service. People were generally positive about their experience of care and treatment from the practice, however some people also reported difficulty accessing appointments and at times felt that their symptoms had been dismissed by clinicians. Results from the National GP Patient Survey 2024 showed patients found it difficult to contact the practice by phone and their last experience of contacting the service was significantly lower than that experienced by an average patient in England. We asked the provider to share details of the CQC’sGive Feedback on Care link on the provider’s website, where people were invited to share their experience of the service with CQC. In the last twelve months we received feedback from 91 people who used the service. Approximately half were positive and patient comments indicated a high level of satisfaction with members of the staff team and the care and treatment they had received. The other half provided mixed or negative feedback with the main themes being access, lack of empathy displayed by staff and difficulty raising concerns.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
